Blogs: If everyone is busy posting, who will have time for reading?

I saw a funny skit on The Rick Mercer Report last Tuesday, about the last guy in Canada to create a blog. He was posting on mundane experiences in his life and loading pictures of his frozen pizza, and the punchline was the idea that everybody is so busy writing their own mundane blog postings, that no one had time to read his boring posts.

As I have little previous experience with blogs, this skit has maybe influenced my perception negatively. My hope is that in the next few weeks, the managing/searching of other people's blogs will give me a better sense of how to efficiently enjoy this new, democratizing technology.
